BIOGRAPHY

Blake Lively stars as Serena van der Woodsen in the stylish drama Gossip Girl, based on the tremendously popular book series about privileged teenagers who attend an elite private school in New York City. She recently won a Teen Choice Award for Choice TV Actress -- Drama for her portrayal, in addition to winning for Choice TV Breakout Star -- Female.
 
Lively has quickly become one of the most sought-after young actresses in Hollywood. She made her big-screen debut in Warner Bros.' The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, for which she earned a nomination for Choice Movie Breakout Performance -- Female at the 2005 Teen Choice Awards. Lively can currently be seen in the long-anticipated sequel.
 
Lively starred in the comedy Accepted, alongside Justin Long and directed by Steve Pink, and in the independent feature Elvis and Annabelle, starring opposite Max Minghella and Mary Steenburgen. She will star in the upcoming New York, I Love You and The Private Lives of Pippa Lee, both featuring a stellar ensemble cast.
 
Lively has been honored at the Hollywood Life Breakthrough Awards, and comes from a large family of California actors. She graduated from high school in 2007.
